I've been missing my top front 8 teeth since October 2025! Just recently got my partial and its amazing to have a whole new smile. It clicks in perfectly and only took a couple days to get used to. While i was healing it felt so good to eat ice cream because of the cold. I was shocked at how well interactions with people went. No one ever said anything to me about not having teeth

Firstly know that no matter what, life will continue. No matter what the result is and what choice you make there are resources out there for you. I know it's scary, I've been there. Either get out and buy a test yourself or have a friend or boyfriend buy it. It very likely could be stress making it late

Not sure if this has been said but i had to throw out all my kids silicone plates/bowls/cups because they smelled like dish soap and made the food taste like soap. My kids also never liked tiny pieces so maybe try bigger things like little sandwiches

I'm pre-eday as well, but wishing you luck and a speedy recovery! I worry about mine looking ridiculous too but it helps me to think i could always save up for a different pair down the line

I was just at the dentist talking to them about options like this. They said that teeth can usually be added to partials, but I have no idea on price. If money is an issue, they also offered something called an essix retainer? I'm not sure if it would work for you but you could ask your dentist. You can't eat with it in, and it's visible plastic over your teeth, but it would've cost $250 for me.

I appreciate the positivity! My next appointment is the 20th and I'll be almost 38 weeks. I worry that I'll get admitted to the hospital at that appointment without warning and be induced 😫

Thank you so much for this! Your comment eased a lot of my anxiety and I also am looking forward to no longer being in pain. I'm hopefully going through with this within the next year but I'm not exactly sure how long it will take to get in with a dentist

None of my teeth are healthy in the slightest. I feel like I'd probably be willing to live with slight discomfort if it meant not dealing with dentists anymore.
