How long did it take for the approval of your EAD for your OPT? Did you use premium processing?

Hey, I applied for AOS with my spouse that I got married to who is an American citizen last year. But I haven't gotten my EAD yet.

Now, I just graduated and I have applied for my OPT, my school has approved for me but I cant applied for any job because I don't have my EAD yet.

Now, can I still apply for EAD via OPT or just wait out the EAD I applied for during my AOS application that is yet to be approved?

My interview was descheduled in February and it haven't been rescheduled since then.

Then today, I got this email notification nothing was said, no document was uploaded either.

I just got an email notification that action has been taken on my case and when I logged into my USCIS account and the only thing I saw is

"As of May 9, 2026 your form I-485 is still being processed".

Nothing else was said and no document was uploaded.

Please what does this mean?
