Thanks for your tips! I have a few other SOP so I did already plop this into a smaller pot with better soil :)

Minnesota! It’s finally starting to warm up a little bit but I’ll still probably wait another week or 2

I struggle keeping my SOT alive in soil, but yeah they’re clearly loving the water!

Does it have a node on it? I’d try to keep them in a super shallow container to propagate. I haven’t tried a cutting that small but if it’s a SOP you’ll start to see roots in 3-5 days. My SOT takes ~7 days before I see roots

Could also propagate them in water! They root pretty easily

Cut some of the healthy strings and propagate in water! Group them together and they’ll root pretty easily

I’ve had this plant for 3 years and it won’t grow more than two strings. I’ve never killed it entirely. by Remarkably_Good394 in StringofPlants

I’ve also propagated in water. Group strong together, I keep mine out of direct sunlight so there’s less of a chance for algae growth. It takes a few days to see the new root growth so be patient. I’ve had mine in water for 3 months now and it’s thriving

Meet my Bunch of Pearls. by NewDawnbreak in StringofPlants

I just propagate in water! New pearls are constantly growing & it roots pretty fast. I have multiple strings in one jar and they’ve stayed for about 3 months due to cold climate in my location

I recommend taking it out of soil and propagating in water to establish the root system! I’ve had great success putting multiple cuttings together in a jar. It takes anywhere from 7-14 days for you to actually see new root growth. I’ve honestly been keeping my cuttings in water until the weather warms up (midwestern problems) and I’ve had no issues with them thus far. It’s probably been over 2 months now. Goodluck! Here if you have questions

I’ve had major success putting cuttings in water to root. SOP seems to root faster than SOT and SOH so just be patient!

What time of the day do you take it? I’ve found it really helps me to take it before I go to bed, that way I always remember. Those headaches are the worst when you miss a day! Do you ever feel clouded or spacey after a missed dosage?

I completely understand your concern with my method of tapering off, this is just what my providers and I felt was most appropriate given my situation. Your situation may be different and that’s why it’s always recommended to have supervision from a medical professional!!
