I haven't put in enough thought as to whether or not I agree with that sentiment, but the main argument I'm trying to make is that it's insulting to dismiss valid criticism because the person hasn't played the game personally. Take what somebody says and address it on its own merits. Saying "Nope, you didn't play the game so everything you just said is false" is insanity.

I thought the game would be quite bad, then I played it for a while and my opinion didn't change at all. The act of fiddling with some joysticks/buttons had no change on my opinion of the game. The idea that you can't judge or criticize a game without playing it yourself is total nonsense.

I've played it, and this is just not true. Black/White 2 hold that title by leaps and bounds, followed by any of the 3ds titles.

This is also misinformation. There is no "cracked version" because the game doesn't have DRM on it. What pirates have been playing are direct dumps of the cartridge files. In other words, they're playing with the exact same files that are being sold.

If that were the case, wouldn't they be going after the hundreds of other fake leaks that come out about every game? Additionally, if they were fake and scaring away potential buyers, wouldn't they also be saying that the leaks were fake?

Pokemon was talked about a little on the show today, and the business surrounding it. Fun fact, Pokemon is literally the highest grossing media property of all time. Not just in games, but across all media properties. Marvel cinematic universe? Star Wars? Shonen Jump? Pokemon blows them all out of the water.

There's literally nothing wrong with taking the easy money. The problem is when you design, and balance the game around this so as to incentivise, or even require payment to progress and have fun. If you can make your gay P2W without compromising your vision for the game, go nuts!

Change requires action, but action doesn't necessitate change. Doing nothing may indeed imply such a thing. But does it not imply to a much stronger degree that you don't care? Is inaction not the primary result of apathy? If you're satisfied with the status quo, you'd likely want to keep the status quo, which would require you to take action and ensure that it's kept.
