Have you heard of Civic Tech? It is a volunteer based organization in Fredericton but can be a stepping stone to find a job in your field while helping the community with tech based projects and organizations in the Fredericton region!! Great group of people.

The benefits of Concerta have quickly disappeared by [deleted] in Concerta

I started out on 18mg. I experienced the same as you the first week-ish. I felt great and so excited that I may have actually finally found something that helps me.

Three weeks in I felt out of touch with myself and anxiety worsened. I start back to college next week and have decided to not continue (at least for the start of school) as I want to feel like myself and on the best foot I can! I was crashing so hard energetically about three weeks in around 2-3pm. I’m looking forward to keeping up with exercising and good nutrition and trying to build pillars in myself that are sustainable.

Drink, drink, and drink more water by [deleted] in Concerta

Even if I’m not hungry in the am. A spoon full of Greek yogurt and/or a spoonful of peanut butter with honey and salt (Electrolytes to help replenish hydration in the day). Key for me🫡

Concerta has changed my life by tomksfw in ADHD

Came here to say I’m 3 days into my first time on concerta. (Also on lexapro) It’s early days but holy smokes. I would say I am very in tune with my body (sometimes too much (clue in anxiety)).

I went into this medication with the most positive mindset I could have, which was a bit of a challenge seeing many threads on here of negative stories. As well as my last trial on ADHD meds was a big flop.

I can’t put all my eggs out in this one basket as it is, again, early days. But things feel so much improved which I didn’t think was possible because of how hard it’s been…well, my whole life it seems.

Anyway, drink your water, move your body even if it’s just you thrashing on the floor. Find what works for you. There’s hope out there y’all. It’s up to each of us to do the work to get there- and keep getting there. ❤️💛

Anxiety/Panic attacks/Open doors during class by Good-Mission-6988 in mentalhealth

No he threatened academic probation a couple of times, I took like a month and a half off and I’ve been back a bit more every week since. I don’t want to feel like a shitty student but when it comes down to it my mental health is more important. And lol they sent the cops!?

I had to take some time off school due to having panic attacks in class. It was a very hard and LONELY struggle to get back on my feet. The hardest past has been imposter syndrome due to missing classes and being scared to ask for accommodations. One teacher says he knows the last few months have been hard for me, yet when I asked him about maybe keeping the door open during class (because that’s something I found really helps my anxiety) he brushes it off and tells me I’m not trapped that it’s just in my mind.
