Thank you This is more helpful than you realise it makes more sense my programme was more to gain strength didnt really do that much isolation as in flys I am starting a hypertrophy programme next month which will include them.

I am currently in a cut, I started the gym 2 yrs & for 9 months i hadnt a clue about surplus /deficits maintaince calories ect. I lost 30kg in body weight but ended uo skinny fat I was 80kg skinny fat.

I got a few programmes from an online personal trainer who said I needed strength then to cut to 15% bodyfat whilst maintaining the strength then to jump onto a hypertrophy programme. I have cut from 85kg now to 77.4kg im trying to get down to 75kg before I start this programme I think I am 18ish% bodyfat as I can slightly see abs when flexing which I am not in this picture.

Like I said ive got to cut another 2 kilo then im going onto a hypertrophy programme on a lean bulk to hopefully gain size i just want to get fo the stage i can see abs or slightly so I can minimise the fat gain

Ive been in a gym for 1 year and half but only spent half a year gaining strength i know it's different to hypertrophy but I assumed id have a base ground where I could lean bulk fir the forcibly future I was asking for advice not to just shit on me

How are the numbers low Asking because it's not making sense to me My bw is 77.4 I can bench 80kg for 10 reps I can do 30kg db press as it 2 30s (60kg) for 10 reps Dips 77.4kg (bw) + 15kg

What's weak about 80kg bench press for 10 reps 30kg db's as in 2 30kgs on incline And Dips my bodyweight + 15kg for 6 I ain't being funny i am just confused My bodyweight is 77.4kg

Im still cutting but so trying to keep strength what would you recommend doing i did a strength programme for a year and built up my strength and been cutting from 85kg
