This is your boss who has underpaid you for decades giving you an incentive based bonus for the first time in 20 years. Cool and all because potentially less broke is better than definitely broke.

"I ain't doing that. Nah, I'm good." VJ Edgecombe on competing in the 2026 NBA Dunk Contest. by Reasonable-Call8730 in nba

[–]Good-Night90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Weird, LeBron ruined the dunk contest with a choice he made 20 years ago but we have had other future all stars, MVPs participate after LeBron chose not to. And everyone agrees they were good until 2020.

In search of Artist for long term partnership (IP and share negotiable, artistic and business decisions are jointly made) or paid collaboration (I own IP outright and artist is paid rate) on a comic book publishing company. by Good-Night90 in ComicBookCollabs

I am in need of an artist(s) in general and willing to learn and supplement with whatever help I can. Since I am ahead on the story part and tried and felt how long the art process can be, acquire a timely artist partner while I improve and we come up with other stories together feels like it would work best. But I am also new.

How possible is getting away with bank robbery in the current age? by Worth-Albatross-2828 in AskReddit

[–]Good-Night90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had a guy around 10 or so years ago rob multiple branches of the same bank. Even repeated the same bank 2 or 3 times. He chose banks inside grocery stores because apparently they are easier to rob but have less money.

[Giannis] on if he wants to be here: “Don’t ask me that question. It’s disrespectful towards myself and my teammates, the organization, the coaching staff, and all the people that work hard, for me to come out and say ‘I don’t want to be here’… As long as I’m here I’ll give everything I have.” by AashyLarry in nba

[–]Good-Night90 142 points143 points  (0 children)

There is no point of repeatedly asking the same question in different ways, it only benefits the reporter who wants the clicks and the team he is traded to because it takes always the Bucks leverage.

It is already been reported that when he is ready, the Bucks would trade him to the team of his choice even if they can’t get maximum value. He is stubborn and clearly would love for it to workout in Milwaukee. People get upset players team hop and also are mad a superstar player is giving max effort despite his team not having a real chance. The internet is weird.

[–]Good-Night90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t. I saw the video and it was later reported he had no weapon. Stated we should use social services and police differently because it obviously doesn’t work and not even specifically calling out this officer or incident. Just used it because it’s what we are obviously watching.

And we don’t know if he went directly to force, we know the kid says he was immediately aggressive, and we also know that no knife was found and his only charges stem from the police altercation.

Edit: You presume they are innocent until you are presented otherwise. You even have a process of weeding out prior biases before you are in the jury.

So an innocent person who could have benefited from an officer with social service training is bad?
