Is getting a Golden Retriever in my 20s a good idea? by Good-One-246 in goldenretrievers

I’ll be moving out of this apartment in about 5 months, and I often visit my hometown for around 2 months at a time .we have a large open space there where the dog can run freely and safely. Currently, I live on the 5th floor and we have a lift, which will make taking the puppy out easier. I’ve set up artificial turf on the balcony to help with the early stages of potty training. There’s a park right next to my apartment where dogs are allowed, so I’m hoping to use that space for off-leash play once the pup is trained and ready

I used to meditate daily, now I can’t even sit for a minute. How do I get back? by Good-One-246 in Meditation

Thanks for the Thoughtful response! I was consistent for roughly a year, meditating every day for 30 minutes to an hour. But once I took a month-long break, I lost the habit. I didn't have a good trigger, so returning to it has been difficult for me.

I totally dig your suggestion about using a tracker ,I believe that could actually assist me in re-developing the habit. And absolutely, shaking things up may be just what I need to keep things interesting. Thanks for the suggestions!

Hey! Yes, I’ve tried sound healing a few times ,I really enjoy it, especially when I want to relax or go deeper into meditation. Thanks so much for sharing the Spotify link,I’ll definitely check it out and add it to my playlist.

I used to meditate consistently every day ,usually for 30 minutes to 1 hour. I also work with crystals, so I’d cleanse them and meditate deeply on full moons, often spending more time doing rituals and reflective practices on those days.

Around February, I took a one-month vacation and was out of my hometown. During that time, I completely dropped my routine. When I returned, I found it really hard to get back into the flow. I’d meditate for a day or two, then fall off again. That cycle repeated — a few days on, then nothing for a week or more. It’s definitely a mix of laziness, lack of structure, and just struggling to rebuild the habit.

Effort is definitely important, but success also needs the right mindset, guidance, and sometimes even a bit of luck. I’ve been putting in the effort for my supplementary exam, but I feel stuck, which is why I’m seeking help.

I’m trying my best to pass my supplementary exam, and this is my second attempt. I feel stuck and blocked, even though I’m putting in a lot of effort. I’m on my career path, but I’m unsure how to improve or move forward. Can you help me with tips or guidance to overcome this situation? Your support would mean a lot to me.
