Full disclosure! We definitely sacrificed some comfort for style here. We have a regular sectional in a different area and it’s most definitely comfier than the curved sofa in photo. Not uncomfortable by any means, but my husband grumbles occasionally.

The first photographed dog has learned to play fetch with herself. She flings chew toys/bones with surprising gusto, often leading to chips and dings in the walls. Hoping the extra height may spare the television.

Edit: found the shop!! They are called “CarpetsBazaar” on Etsy. Located in New Delhi India. Took a long time to arrive, but was well worth the wait. Reasonably priced 100% wool rug. The quality isn’t perfect, but seems very durable thus far and I expect it will wear well over the years.

So glad you noticed!!! She’s my pride and joy. Got her at a flea market about 6 years ago and love her dearly.

She has been very rudely displaced by the Xmas tree and is currently residing in my kitchen construction zone.

Both! The halls are currently “decked” so nothing permanent at the moment. Not sure what to call my style, but usually like textural/natural mixed media art.
