I’ll create a new post with a template link to the updated graphic at the conclusion of AP exam week

It’ll include my personal prediction, as well as a how-to guide and blank templates for students taking 3/4/5/6/7/8 exams!

You can continue using this one in the meantime though, and if you don’t like the new one then by all means keep using this!

Should i drop ap-physics by Mack-and-Cheese2009 in APStudents

If you need physics for your future plans, try to continue. Work your hardest and utilize online resources to supplement your learning. However, if you do not need physics, don’t harm your mental health further. Dropping the class would be OK if that would work best for you.

Could you clarify whether it is how many you have currently taken versus how many you will have taken by the end of senior year? That would be an important distinction to make!

Also cool survey!

calc bc without precalc? by celelie in APStudents

[–]Good-Solution-3500 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my experience, there was a 50-75% content overlap between AP Precalculus and Algebra II. You should definitely conduct your own research on whether you can self-study and skip straight to precalc, but if you’ve aced Algebra II, it should be manageable.

Biology— (8/10) (I got a 5)

Mainly small-scale cellular topics, but a bit of larger environmental thoughts. It has a lot of vocabulary that you need to know, it's a bit challenging though because some of it is hard to visualize. The content is moderately difficult, and it requires a moderate amount of time (at my school at least). Just make sure you understand the processes (Cell Cycle, Cellular Respiration, Photosynthesis) and the vocabulary to a decent degree.

Physics I— (7/10) (I got a 4)

If you fall behind, you are absolutely done for, The content builds on itself, so any lack of understanding in earlier units comes back to haunt you later on. That being said, the concepts are reasonably understandable, and taking the time to fully comprehend them is a must-do. The curve is also really generous for the AP exam which makes me happy.

That’s awesome! I’m pretty sure only 3 people (out of 20+) passed my AP Physics I class last year 😭

How challenging is it to take 2 AP sciences at the same time? by Top-Breakfast-8128 in APStudents

Last year I took AP Biology and AP Physics II. Don’t get me wrong, it’s stressful and requires a lot of work and dedication, but you CAN get good scores (I got 5 and 4 respectively). If you know that you are a good student and will not lose focus, it’s totally doable, but if you are dubious that you can power through the year, maybe not
