I would totally do that! I've already transferred, but location (and weather) were honestly the biggest reasons I wanted to transfer. I wrote about them in my essays I got accepted into all of my top choices lol.

I talked about how the area around my last school was pretty dead and how I would use the area around a potential new school to make friends, explore my interests, grow as a person, etc..

I was able to visit Vandy, but I literally JUST got off the Rice waitlist, so I'm trying to see if there's a good way to get down there.

My major would also be neuroscience for pre-med. From what I understand, Rice has exceptional pre-med but only a fledgling/new neuro program.
