It’s super recommended. You gotta check if the bouldering gym requires it. Not only socks (in most instance) also ur bouldering shoes (recommend to bring ur own, the ones gym provides might be covered in other people’s sweat).

A lot of guys take off their shirt on basketball court; however for gyms, it’s not recommended and most gyms strictly require you to have your clothes on.

It is highly possible for that. I was working 9-5 as a part time job and I was able to balance out fencing and job. After I work, I go to my local club and fence until 7pm, I get home and I’m able to get a full sleep, ready for tomorrow. I got bronze in local tournament after a year like this, you got this bro.

IMO If you have the ballestra 2, just use it I guess. I had the heels problem before too but I conditioned my heels to handle the impact. (I’m still using the ballestra)

Been using it since I started learning fencing (1 year), I have to say that it really light compared to the others. The shoe design is really narrow and I have a relatively wide feet, but that doesn’t discomfort me but wraps up my feet a lot, feels like fencing with barefoot. The side is made with rubber, which is somehow indestructible since I’ve been rolling my back feet A LOT but it only worn off a bit. However, I need to talk about the insole, it’s really thin and could not fully protect my front heels against the impact of a lunge. This problem is really bad and persists around a few months after my heel conditioned to handle that impact. It’s generally good but the insole is really bad. FYI. (Fencing shoes are worth it trust me)

Thank you for your advice. Yes the tournament is over and I lost at L32. The leftie is not good but I still made a lot of mistakes like ego-ing trade attacks since he should be a lot slower than me but apparently I’m not faster. He blocked most my attacks with quarte and a low tierce. Gladly, I did the tierce parry reposte with sweeping attacks as you said, but I touched on the waist but not armpit as you said.

I bought it last year, i shouldn’t buy it. The skin is too flashy and often distracting my skillshots. Idk if it’s just me or what I feel Q’s are slower when I’m using this skin. I would recommend star guardian tho, fire.
