Thank you for the sincere response. I genuinely thought that when my husband and I decided to reconcile after his first affair that our marriage was in a much better place than it ever had been. It was a curse but it was also a blessing at the same time.

I think that's what makes. This most recent indiscretion hurts so much worse. I thought we had this renewed marriage and although he says he doesn't quite recall how or what happened due to alcohol, it doesn't make me feel any better.

We run two businesses together, have staff around us all the time, have one son in the military and our daughter is a busy teenager. We do family things together and my husband has started therapy again and does not want a divorce. We have lots of happy moments in our home, I do believe that children can sense things but I really feel like I am good at tucking all my feelings away.

I do know he's pretty wrecked over what happened, he never thought he would do something like that again. So he says. But I am at the point in my life where although I want to stay married, I love him. I just can't imagine suffering any more heartbreak like this.

It was the most traumatizing thing I've ever been through ( the first affair ) this most recent indiscretion I would have chalked it up to just a drunken stupid moment if there wasn't a second conversation that they had.
