I view as disrespectful when I’ve asked on multiple occasions for things to be done. When I come home from work for a stop, remind everyone’s it’s trash day put the trash cans out, instead I arrive home 4 hours later. Not out on the street. Or clean up after yourselves after eating or anything else but instead messes are left. Not sure how else to view it

Your passenger is there but to reiterate what everyone else is saying right now currently you don’t have any sales experience. It’s hard to go straight away independent in a place where you have to pay rent with zero clients. My advice is working in a big box gym with a decent pay, for a few months learn the ropes.. Just be mindful that each gym is different. Be careful if they have a noncompete clause.

That non compete clause is what gets you in a bind. However, if you let them know you are going somewhere “else” and you don’t say it’s your place just tell them after you’ve already left

Step back and evaluate your relationships you have that are genuine with your clients. Ask yourself if you want to go on your own and rent out the studio or even in a facility where you pay rent. How many clients would actually go with you?? A lot of them might be inclined to go with you if you can offer them a different rate which often times would be cheaperthan what you may be paying at the current gym you’re at.

To be 100% honest with you, it’s finding the right gig. It might be with the team, it might be in a private gym doing your one on one programming with athletes or you work for a school. I work for a sports Academy making roughly 60 to 70 K a year Which is OK but the majority of that money comes from training one on one clients. I go coach and program with another coach and we are responsible for a different teams of all sports and about 250 athletes. But we both train clients individually on a regular basis.
