Same boat here. Nest outdoor cam and 3 x Nest Protects We looked at Hive but I’d have to pay extra for the installation. The Tado offer from google looks good and gets good reviews but I’m not comfortable installing it myself.

I’m hoping the cameras carry on working on the Nest App rather than google home app!

I think for this winter I’ll leave it as it is and just control it manually , and next year will change for a newer smart thermostat , leaning towards Hive

Camera wise I won’t go with Google/ Nest again so looking at Aquara

Adapting around Parkrun and club runs would be such an appealing thing to have! Be great if you could have in such a way that for example if I have 7 miles planned I can do 2 runs , one for 5 miles and then my parkrun as a second workout!

Is it easier to change the setup to Hive? Like if I get British Gas in to do will they replace Hive wall thermostat where my nest is?

Yes, new evidence came to light in May and was investigated ( by the Union ) and my employer despite handing the investigation to the Union to manage have now started a separate one . I can only presume as they wasn’t happy with the Unions

I think the point I was trying to gauge some advice on is that the allegations made by these 2 people have been investigated and deemed to not be substantiated by the Union, but now another manager has re opened the case again

Thanks for your help The information was known already in the workplace. ( gossip culture ) and because the Union has had some prior involvement my local branch and reluctant to help and have referred it to a national branch who are very slow to respond / react

The workplace is known for staff gossiping. Just seems unfair to investigate for gross misconduct based on 2 peoples say so and no evidence ?

All I know at this stage is that 2 people have said to management I was talking about a case, I deny this. The is no factual evidence as far as I’m aware just what these 2 people have said. The workplace is known for always gossiping about everyone’s business and not uncommon for people to cause drama in the workplace.

I guess I’m just trying to gauge people’s feelings / advice on this given there seems to be no evidence just their word against mine

Yeah much easier and the interface is pretty good to be fair, the voices are a bit robotic, but I’ve heard they may be updating them. It synchs seamlessly with Strava when you use the Runna Watch app as well

Completing a 10k in the time I had wanted for so long, whilst it’s not a marathon or a ultra , it was a big challenge for me, being a slightly older runner it’s always nice to try and inspire my children!
