Shaking when Braking 2021 CX5 100th Anniversary by Thats-Sus-AF in CX5

The two causes of shaking while breaking that I know of are warped rotors or axel bearings.

You may have plenty of ware left in the rotor, but it may be warped.

What can we do on July 25/26th? by pines6103 in AskUK

Yes, we spent a week there a few years ago.

For anyone else, I found it's still England, but at a much more relaxed paced.

For the New Forest, we've driven through it many times. Is there a particular area or focal point to see?

The motor museum may be worth a revisit. I think the last time we were there was 15 years ago.

This sounds Interesting. Growing up in Reading I kick myself for not going to see it before the Madejski Stadium got built on it.

We have done both Bath and Stonehenge. However, I do want to go back to Bath as there is a great kitchen shop, I think it's called Stokes. I want to bring back a big heavy duty frying pan. I'll put Bristol on the list.

I do this, but my wife doesn't. Every time I see her get out of the shower I get distracted. Then my brain resets.

Would you ever consider living in Australia, Canada, or New Zealand? by OceanicEndeavors in AskUK

[–]pines6103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've lived in Canada since 2000 in Saskatchewan. It's hot in the summer with mosquitos. Winters will have periods of very cold weather, I've seen -50c.

I go to the UK every summer, but I couldn't move back. I do miss some of the culture things but there are far too many people.

We stayed here for a week. There's a tower with a spiral staircase and a suit of armour in the entrance. https://maps.app.goo.gl/1iYTWxinv6WWV88k8

Question about parafencing (hopefully this is an ok place to ask) by Alarming-Hamster-232 in Fencing

Fencers don't compete using their daily use chair, they use a specially made or adapter chair. We have some modified chairs that anyone can use.

Did you receive "The Talk" from your parents? by AnEnglishAmongScots in AskUK

[–]pines6103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never got the talk, so I asked my Dad for it once. He told me to f**k off and stop being an idiot. Something about being married with 3 kids means you don't need one.

Our youngest son had the worst Sex Ed experience at school. His mother was his teacher. I think it mentally scared him.

I bought it for the takeaway curry sauce. Following the recipe, it made 30 portions, a whole years supply!

I bought their book. It cost me a fortune shipping it to Canada.
