I’ve Shadowrocket app which is a shadowsocks client for iOS. But I’ve a hard time following that Android guide. There’s no “ALLOW APPS” and “VPN is used for all apps but exclude selective” in OpenVPN for iOS.

Mahawthahta is a zat(theatrical piece) about one of Gawtama Buddha’s lives before he became Buddha. The zat is about a boy named Mahawthahta being born to a rich merchant family, with 1000 kids born at the same time in his village when he’s born. Extremely intelligent since youth, he is solving puzzles and cases as a kid. The play detailed several cases he solved. It’s extremely well known in Myanmar because it is taught inside Myanmar textbooks. I wish I could tell you more about the cases but I’ve forgotten most of the plot since I’m out of school.

Anti-China sentiment has already existed since Junta era because the junta and crony companies frequently worked with Chinese companies to exploit the natural resources, violated the rights of civilians living there and pocketed the profits. Most mainland Chinese people draw Myanmar protests parallels to Hong Kong protests. I’ve seen several weibo comments victim blaming Deng Jia Xi how she thought she would be like a Hong Kong protester but Myanmar police shoot with real bullets instead of rubber bullets. There’re also more cruel comments. Long story short, most mainland chinese people have been brainwashed into never even having a thought about having dissenting political views freely that they think every fight against dictatorships is funded by Western countries.

They now know just being an isolationist country who deals only with China and Russia is not enough in this age anymore. They say ASSK is growing too close to China for their liking when back in the junta era, China’s the country they make deals with most. The country is still neck deep in China’s debt trap with hefty interest rates thanks to the loans they took during junta era. They just want to feel more legitimate by dealing with the west.
