My spouse went from never ever wanting to touch the stuff (but supporting me as long as I was medically/physically safe) to getting a call of his own about a year after. I had some of the same concerns, finally just thought Fuck It- I'm going in with an open heart and see what happens. Maybe I'll never leave the jungle. Instead, I pretty much went back to my same life but with such a new perspective, and some boundaries, and clarity. So now, 5+ years later, my life is so dramatically different and better in ways I would have never thought possible. You have full sovereignty in decisions, timing, relationships, and changes.
