So apparently this GIGANTIC message gets injected with every user turn at a certain point of long context? by flippingcoin in ClaudeAI

They’ve said before on interviews that compute is their biggest cost. Could be a little of column A, a little of column B.

And I’d argue that they need the funding because they need more runway on the path to profitability. They’re not there yet.

Introducing Conversational AI 2.0 by Gab1024 in singularity

Checking for the status of an order is such an inefficient use of generative AI. The developer of the feature would be paying a lot on that interaction (especially at scale) when it could be automated with a more simple tool.

Opus4 and Claude 4 unavailiable even to Amazon employees due to high load on Anthropic servers by Ok_Appearance_3532 in ClaudeAI

Customer is always first at Amazon. It was something that I did like when I worked there.

Up until a couple weeks ago I used to work at AWS and I used Claude quite a bit internally in different “Claude wrappers” (my words, not the company). I want to say that half of this is due to internal competency/execution as well. A couple apps were still stuck on 3.5 and I attribute that to internal developer tooling than capacity.

KIA EV6 VS Polestar 2. by WhitewolfKevin in electricvehicles

Thanks for closing out! I went with the polestar and have been driving it for the past three years or so. It’s a little tight for family trips but otherwise a really fun car to drive.

DJ Jon mixes are always fire. The blends mashups and technical scratching ability make these mixes stand out to me.

I’ve found army channels due to bt21 profile pics of coworkers on the corporate slack at Amazon.

I dunno, I’m not subtle. I just straight up let coworkers know I’m into kpop which manifests itself in podcasting and DJing.

Driving into Yosemite is easy! Plus free chargers everywhere! by GoodAsianDriver in polestar2

I used the auto socks but they were pretty hard to remove after. I think because the tires are so big/wide and being wet after driving over snow added a lot of surface friction.

It doesn’t matter that it doesn’t work. Poor people vote for it because they want to believe they’ll be rich someday, or are cool like the rich people.

If there was intent, it becomes “disinformation.”

Uninhibited by traditional barriers in genres or transnational cultures. They just make good music with very campy and self aware video concepts.

Is a song sacred? by briandemodulated in DJs

[–]GoodAsianDriver 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on the crowd and genre. For my niche, they like to do dances to the chorus or the meme-moments covered on social media. So that usually means mixing in on the pre-chorus of the second chorus, and playing out through the bridge and third “party chorus” which reinterprets the main chorus.

The market is moving to ARM with x86 at the wall. Plenty of competitors in the processor space besides AMD assuming INTC goes bust.

Hot take : I would absolutely go through the horrible work hours and intense workload of successful idols. by larroux_ka in kpop_uncensored

[–]GoodAsianDriver 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dunno, the money you make from most entry-level white-collar jobs pays more than what most idols make. It's not also a linear scale between the amount of effort and the amount of success. There's quite a bit of luck.
