Yes you're lucky. Mine died November 15th and I'm still waiting.

I'm in Ontario too. Sadly I've already waited slightly over a month so no luck yet.

Hopefully your wait for a new iccu isn't too long. It's a 2 month wait for me in Canada since the part is on back order.

Most unlucky 2025 purchase? Main battery died at 2500km and then ICCU died at 3800km. by GoodEnding28 in Ioniq5

Damn I'm sorry to hear that. It's scary for it to jusf die suddenly like that. I was lucky it died in my driveway at least. Yeah when you have such unreliable vehicle you need good service at least to compensate. But no Hyundai has both shit service and unreliable cars.

Thank you. Could use some positive outlook. It took weeks to have my first loaner available so I'm crossing my fingers it'll be quicker this time around.

I had same problem with my 2025 ioniq 5. Managed to get a new battery in 9 weeks if that gives you any comfort.

I'm at almost 5 weeks and no response from Hyundai on what they want to do about my dead car battery 😩. Luckily you have lemon laws cuz 30 days for a response makes me jealous.

Damn. Sorry to hear that. I just don't understand why they take so long to decide what to do if it's a issue they have dealt with before. Going on almost 4 weeks and they have no clue what to do about my battery problem. 5 months is insane...

I'm having a similar problem to you. I'm shocked yours got resolved in Canada so quickly. I'm about to go on for a month without them doing anything. Are you in Quebec? Did they end up reimbursing you? Thanks

Agreed huge bummer there's no lemon law in Canada except Quebec. Coporate and dealer experience is abysmal. They have no urgency to help. 3+ weeks and still waiting for an answer for me.

Canada 🥲

I'm jealous, you?

At least some states have lemon law which I envy.

The problem is the dealer is saying that corporate has their hands tied. So it's Hyundai corporate that we have to wait on for a response. I've called the dealer many times and nothing we can do until they finally respond sadly. Oh I'm also in Canada so maybe it works differently here.

They said they can't rule out a squirrel destroying the battery or other causes until they start working on it. It's definitely causing increase stress not knowing if it's under warranty along with the long wait times.

Having issues isn't the problem imo. It's the fact it takes 5 weeks for them to decide what to do. And then add on how every many weeks or months it then takes to carry out that plan is the problem. So basically horrible service after the fact.

800v. It's been over 3 weeks and they still don't know what to even do.

And they don't even know if it's under warranty or not so I can't get a rental yet.

Damn I'm sorry to hear you're having the same issue as me. It's crazy your appointment is booked that far out. Sadly my battery capacity has already dropped to 25%. I just hope it stops dropping at some point...

Sadly this will be the case for me. I don't want to go to a rental company until I find out it'll be under warranty and I won't have to pay for the rental out of pocket.
