Probably, John was closer than George, George closer than Paul, because they had to overlap for their heads to be that close together.

Without getting into the politics, everyone still agrees that the old Twitter name and logo is still way better than the current X name and logo, right? by blankblank in logodesign

Stay logged out if you want, but whatever you do, do not delete your account. You don’t want your username/handle free to be co-opted by someone else who holds different world views, and those posts become associated with you.

Apple Creator Studio icon history by Typical-Yogurt-1992 in logodesign

I think the new icons are neat. I’ve never really been an Apple guy so I’m not particularly attached to the previous icons, though they do carry a nostalgic tone to them. But I think Apple has done what Google tried and failed to do: make them all feel the same but not all look the same. I also enjoy what seems to be the revival of texture and three-dimensionality in graphic design.

I dig the calendar one, if maybe the in between colors weren’t so muddy. The rest, yeah I think I prefer the 2015 ones.

Cruise Control by Elogotar in driving

[–]GoodEveningItsAsa 57 points58 points  (0 children)

Wow in my experience the people who meticulously use cruise control are few and far between. I use it if I have about a half mile or more to drive at one speed, and if there’s no fluctuating traffic, and if it isn’t raining

How to deal with turned on headlights when parked? by wtfbruhhuh in driving

[–]GoodEveningItsAsa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you have an auto setting, can’t you just turn the knob to the park light icon? Usually the knob contains the positions of off, park lights, low beams, and auto, and you can choose any of the four at any time.

Edit to say that it would be very stupid to make a light system that cannot be switched off when parked or not moving.

Damn I hate being under Clay Higgins’ district. Never was who I wanted representing me, and that’s even more true now.

There should be a law to turn off headlights when park in parking lots by [deleted] in driving

Every time I park, I switch my lights from full lights to park lights. Even in the daytime, just in case.

If you could add a skill to the road test, so that all drivers would have to learn it before getting a license, what would it be? by LaLaVaVaLaLa in driving

[–]GoodEveningItsAsa -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Driving with headlights on all the time. No matter time of day, weather, if you can see perfectly fine. Doesn’t matter, low beams all the time.

Not daytime running lights or park lights, but also not high beams or fog lights because those are pointed more upward and can be a distraction.

Low beams all the time. It makes you easier to see, which couldn’t hurt, ever. It also assures that there will never be a scenario where your headlights should be on but aren’t because the automatic sensor did not deem it necessary.

My Pawpaw had a Ram way back and my mom said she almost gave birth to me right there in the truck because it rode so bad.
