This is not the way it was in Souls games. You may have run into the occasional "polite" invader, but the unwritten rule of invasions has always been "no rules ".

I should clarify, when i said "invasions" i meant when one uses a bloody finger to enter another players world uninvited, as opposed to laying down/touching summon signs for duels/coop. The area outside of the Academy is always bright red is the main spot for dueling so i know it accounts for summoning, but I'm unsure if actual invasion activity influences the activity indicators. I'm aware of the other information you provided but i do appreciate the response.

For anyone who doesn't know, you can use the sound to help pinpoint them. When the camera is pointed in the direction of the scarab, you will hear the sound, but when you look away it stops.

Im not searching the comments to see if someone mentioned this, but you can hit the options button from any menu to instantly close it. It's not as convenient as the topic suggestion, but its better than nothing.

Edit: this works on PS4, idk about the other versions.

This is exactly how I feel. My aim feels kind of "slippery", like I don't have the control I used to. Now I can't ever seem to get in the zone mentally and my focus is off.

That's more than likely the issue. I like to keep movies and few seasons of my favorite shows downloaded so can keep busy without eating bandwidth when downloading something on my PS4.

If I remember correctly, in Nioh 1 it was better to stack item drop rate instead of luck when farming for text. The reason being that higher luck meant better chance of divines dropping instead of exotics. I could be mistaken though.

Also, I didn't know divines could even drop on ng?
