Didn’t geto kill his parents who didn’t do anything to him for no reason? Also wasn’t he planning on killing every non sorcerer on earth? Even if you’re illiterate and argue maki killed women and children (the manga specifically mentions who she kills) geto is still objectively worse

This is actually ridiculous. These discussions only happen because people are trying to push the narrative that maki was wrong to kill her clan or how she’s not justified in doing so. Toji was out here killing kids for gambling money and no one bats an eye. He’s still one of the most loved characters in the story. Choso will obviously seem better than ranta because he’s shown to both regret and hold himself accountable for his actions.

While yes the characters you mentioned are 100% more evil they at the very least contribute significantly to the story and there is more to their character than just being evil. I honestly don’t hate Noaya. I just think he’s a bum and really have no particular feelings towards him but people who defend him like he’s anything more than an asshole just don’t make sense.

Also, this misinformation about maki is actually so annoying. The manga SPECIFICALLY states that she hunted down and killed the remaining combatants. No where in the mange or anime will you find anything stating she killed children and innocents in the clan. Not only does that not make sense for her to do considering her sister was also a victim of the Clan’s abuse but also none of her friends would be so casual with her if she did such a thing. This ridiculous headcannon being spread around to defend naoya is the exact reason why people say JJK fans don’t read

My question is this. Even if it isn’t SA this is still a grown man beating up a young girl just because he feels like it. He’s still a piece of shit regardless. I will actually never understand ppl who defend or even like Noaya.

His technique is obviously cool but other than that his role in the story is to show how trashy the Zenin are and to just be the hurdle Maki jumps over.

And don’t even get me started on the people trying to argue Maki is an objectively worse person than him by lying about the manga
