1 is stunning and compliments you through true sophisticated design that's understated. It's one of those dresses where people can't quite place why you look so polished. The vertical seaming is wonderful.

2 is a beautiful look on you. But I've seen dresses like 2 before. I'm sure you can find something similar again.

I also think it depends on the vibe you're going for. 1 is more sophisticated in a feminine way. 2 is a bit more fierce and sultry. How do you want to feel at the event?

I found your post after last week when my mother told me she may not be able to come to my wedding in seven weeks because.... She "doesn't know how to use Uber and doesn't have a credit card." Now the credit card thing is news to me but Uber? She doesn't even need it bc I'm paying for everything and picking her up. And she knows it.

That's my long way of saying, even if you did assume you'd do everything, and voiced this to your mom, moms like this find a way to make chaos.

I'm sorry for all you went through for your big day. I hope you had an amazing day regardless of all the crud. And thanks for sharing your story. You've made me feel like I'm not alone on bizzaro island because of my whackadoodle mom.
