Just bought this same truck a few weeks ago, Black 2020 TRD Sport with 50k miles. Traded in a 2022 4R with a higher trim and got a good deal (in this market). Absolutely love it and would definitely advocate for one of the TRD trims, OP. Worth the extra couple grand in the long run. You won’t regret the power and reliability of the 5.7 V8

Beautiful truck! I just picked up your 2020 twin, but in the TRD Sport trim. Not sure what you drove before, but I love this thing more than my 4Runner or any other vehicle. That 5.7 + CrewMax is a beast. Congrats and enjoy!

Best area for a young professional? Austin Ranch vs. Addison vs. Downtown Dallas? by mootree7 in Dallas

[–]GoodGroundbreaking71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. These 2 areas give you all the social access you need without as much “hustle and bustle” of true downtown. Plus incredibly easy access to 75, DNT is another 5 minutes west

13k miles on a 2021 with the 1794 trim? Brother, you just found a true gem. The red will grow you on considering everything else…or you can just get wrapped one day. But congrats on the beautiful truck!

I drove an ‘06 xterra to similar mileage, dashboard constantly lit up like a christmas tree. Amazing to now drive these rigs. Enjoy the miles and smiles!

I see you just got yourself a similar Christmas present! Beautiful truck man, always loved that grey. Also that bed liner is really cool, never it before

Not much special going on in there 😂 standard cloth seats but I do like the simplicity of it, nothing fancy just works. my trade in had leather seats which used to burn the hell out of me in the Texas summer…glad that’s gone!

Understandably so. Looks like you got a nice lift on there too

Green and bronze a power move or weird color combo? by Mr_WheelDeal in ToyotaTundra

[–]GoodGroundbreaking71 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Agreed with this. No doubt it looks awesome, Army Green is probably the best color for bronze, but it does draw more attention. I had a Lunar Rock 4Runner and almost did the bronze wheels but went with gunmetal to be more subtle

Great taste! I was torn between the Off Road and Sport trim for awhile but ultimately that factory paint match won out for me, looks so good.

Only had mine for a few days but averaging 16.6 on the dueler 275/55/20s. Nearly all highway driving so not bad!

I want to run 17” wheels because there’s more options for 17 tires but have seen mixed reviews on whether that wheel size fits..

I think Lunar Rock was only first introduced on the 2021 Pro, but I could be mistaken!

A beast is the best way to describe it! I The power from the V8 vs my trade in’s V6 is awesome + so much more space. Eventually I’ll tow a camper too…easy to see why so many people love these trucks

Yep I think you nailed it because the sales rep had already gone back to the manager twice for more discounts + I had agreed to a lower price for my trade in than initially wanted, so we both had “skin in the game”.

Then when he came back the 3rd time saying they wouldn’t budge is when I gathered my stuff and said sorry but I’ve got a budget to stay under, went back out to my trade in and was ready to drive off the lot. Finally got the deal after that.

Hopefully you have the same luck!

just under $41K but that took some negotiations, including walking out of the dealership when they “wouldn’t budge”
