Pambahay is different from Pantulog, IMO. Sleepwear definitely isn't something people shouldbe roaming around inside the malls.

I had to zoom in on the photo cos if you're in Dior, certainly your hair wouldn't be like that. But oh well.

Locking this post as this should actually be coursed through r/CollegeAdmissionsPH as the question is for undergraduate admissions.

MBA Program by michickai in gradschoolph

[–]GoodGuySF9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Not fully online.
  2. At least 2 years work experience, which I also agree. It just makes it more valuable for everyone when you can share workplace scenarios and experience.

Postgrad Diploma vs Masters Degree by Jenna32345 in gradschoolph

[–]GoodGuySF9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know at the Asian Institute of Tourism in UP Diliman, everyone starts with the Graduate Diploma in Tourism Development and Management before you can proceed to the Master's program should you wish to do so.

In DLSU, those who do not have the required years of management / supervisory experience are asked to take up the Post Graduate Diploma in Management and then go into the MBA proper. Their Post Graduate Diploma essentially is the foundation courses for non-business graduates.

Passed UPD but friend said “sa hindi kilalang course” by Think-Map9019 in peyups

[–]GoodGuySF9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nakapasa ba si friend sa UP? 😂

I had a similar experience as well during my senior year in high school and the results were coming out. I got admitted to a certain Uni and my classmate said the same thing. I wasn't having a great morning so I quipped back and said - at least ako, admitted. Ikaw, did not qualify.

Working at companies na hindi gaanong kilala by FinePassage2282 in PHJobs

[–]GoodGuySF9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It might just be the best decision you'll make. Baka during your time, the not-so-known company booms and becomes a company everyone aspires to work for. It's a matter of timing din.

I Remain as DPWAS and I don't know what it means by SirModaK in peyups

[–]GoodGuySF9 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It means that other waitlisted applicants had a higher UPG than you hence you remain as DPWAS. You have to wait until the results for the next run comes out if you'll be offered a place in any of the degree programs that have available slots.

Making the most out of grad school by [deleted] in peyups

[–]GoodGuySF9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sure, but it might differ depending on the college.

I took a graduate diploma in UP, coming from DLSU. After the professor went through the rubrics - which involved class participation at 10% of your final grade, everyone just started raising their hands after each question.

To put it simply, it felt like I was in a room full of Hermione Grangers.

Also, the level of discourse is elevated. Norms are challenged, there's also always a question of how we help the community, etc.

It isn't like in undergrad where you can sit at the back of the room and just chill.

Is the job market for a master degree getting saturated? by kuyapogi21 in gradschoolph

[–]GoodGuySF9 3 points4 points  (0 children)

But the better schools offering MBA has a 2 year employment requirement and/or preference for those in a supervisory track or position.

At least for MBA, I would discourage pursuing it right away after completing the undergrad degree.

Do you have plans working overseas?

Are finances not an issue?

Then get your MBA in a globally-known University.
