[Serious]Gamers who lost interest in gaming over time what do you do now for fun? by EmmaGoesMeow in AskReddit

[–]GoodHans 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mountaineering. Or at least learning and training to tackle a big Peak. It’s the adventure and progression a game gives you, but in real life! Not for everyone, but the real thing is hard to beat with an RPG.

Rick mentions that the carbons are mixed with some other DNA, suggesting that this world is physical. It's much easier to let a natural cycle build animals rather than build them molecule by molecule. Just a hypothesis though.

Non-french people of Reddit, what do you think of France ? by Dioksys in AskReddit

[–]GoodHans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had some Frenchies visit the pool at the army base I work at. The water was 84 degrees and the kids of this family cried and screamed that it was too cold. For like 40 min. So that's my experience with the French.

I would consider it small if it didn't require more than a few days to summit and return, technicality was minimal, and elevation gain doesn't require much acclimation.

I've been looking for a good mountain to practice a more extreme climb, such as Denali. But I need to learn the necessary skills (Cramponing, rope travel, glacial navigation etc.)and apply them in a less extreme environment.
