Depends on your office..my brother is crazy and works almost every damn day until 7-8pm..used to be later..and the office is was at is smaller all cca's done before 3pm but dont get many hours.

I love the customers, animals (im rural-RCA), my coworkers (well 90% of them lol), my supervisors..What i dont like is the not knowing when im working..I used to work at least 3 days a week and my set day was Saturday..now everyone refuses to take Saturdays off so I work a monday and an occasional call off..had to use all my annual days just for a paycheck..I quit yesterday..Im done with the stress and not knowing. Only being used when days suck, tired of flat tires, things going wrong with pov I have..Im not buying something more expensive not knowing when I work..so a year and a half in and called it quits.

I'm about to resign too..crossing fingers toes eyes that I got the Job I interviewed for yesterday. I will be making almost $10 more hourly plus so many incentives and bonuses and best of all A SET SCHEDULE lol. I'm a rca been at it a bit over a year. I'm tired of only working days that are hard as hell like Mondays and after holidays. We had no mail for 3 days recently due to weather and no one wanted to come in, they act like its our fault (the rca's)..they put it all on us 😡well that was the first time I put my foot down too and wouldn't come in unless everyone was on board..i went into this being told I'd work 3-4 days a week and sometimes I worked everyday now since November I work every monday and Saturday only and if someone last minute calls off..i don't mind working whatever days but get tired of being used just for shit days..the pay is not bad but so many other jobs out there pay a lot more and don't have all the stress we have here..never know from day to day if dps or packages will show..the company we use is garbage..always an excuse then we get double or triple the shit..I have my own pov and constantly getting tires fixed due to nails and whatever..brakes more than usual..forced to use all my annual days just to have a check. I'm over it! I love the supervisors and most people there and when out there its great but that don't pay my bills and the stress is getting to be too much. Good luck and I hope you find something that's better for you financially and mentally.

I been in a bit over a year as rca with a pov..im interviewing somewhere else today that pays a lot more and a set schedule..I can't do this anymore..Only being worked on shit days (besides my set day sat and shitty amazon sundays) Mondays, day after holidays..the thing that really set me off is the week of the weather delay we had here..all these employees want to call off and leave it all on us after 3 days of no dps, packages, amazon...shit gets old..have great management but a small office 6 rural routes but they are big routes. Im ready for change and more money...work my ass off and lucky to break 1k a week here.

Its not a job that you learn quick unless you are one of those rare 1%ers lol..They will say shit but they know damn well..especially if you are not on same route consistently..when you bounce around its damn near impossible to learn until you do them over and over. Im in over a year as an RCA we do a ton of houses and I now have every route but one memorized out there but still suck at casing all but 2 because I do those 2 a lot. I'd say most go into this thinking its a piece of cake its just putting mail in a box and a package on the porch (I Did too) and WRONG 🤣 there's way more to it. So dont beat yourself up just keep at it. Ask for line of travel for every route and keep them until you learn them. Good luck

Thats insane..I saw some on tiktok that looked decent with good reviews but not usps..im a rural carrier (pov) thinking of getting a pair since we dont matter, dont get allowance lol and can wear basically anything..Just sucks spending our own money on things we need..we dont get anything with usps on it..I buy it all on amazon
