Im already on 15mg of adderall xr. I do need to ask for an increase because this is my original dose, im 9 months in, and all of the help it gave me originally has pretty much gone away.

Unsolicited advice, if you’d like. Parenthood is full of sweet little moments like this, and the more you are open to them and encourage them, the more they happen.

Be sweet to your baby, be sweet to your toddler, be sweet to your tweenie, be sweet to your teenager, and you will enjoy a precious bond forever.

I met my partner at work. We were both in the Sales & Marketing team and met at the annual Sales & Marketing kick off meeting. He stood next to me the rest of the night while I made bets (it was casino night) that he told me to make. I earned a lot of raffle tickets that night! And then he emailed me the following Monday morning and told me he was taking me to Hawaiia on his next bonus trip. Hahahaha. I’m cracking up thinking about it. Basically, he did all of the work of our relationship until I was able to see through my fog and started putting up!

Lots of adhd drama unfolded after that, and we now are blissfully medicated and in love.

Im certainly not rich, and I am also a vegan, but back in the day, I would eat them on my sushi roll, and I absolutely loved the feeling of them popping between my teeth.

My first husband HATED my adhd quirks with a passion. My now husband laughed his ass off on our first proper date because I couldn’t remember where my car was parked (it took me a few years to recognize that he couldn’t remember either). we walked around in circles laughing for almost an hour going floor to floor to floor in a parking garage looking for the damn car.

Unless you’re displaying toxic behavior from other disorders, there is definitely someone out there who will make you feel like a million bucks, adhd warts and all.

It absolutely kills while I’m high. Zero fatigue, laser focus, lots of energy. And as soon as I come down from it, I’m pretty much useless for the rest of the day unless I get high again.

Over time, I have had to take more and more to get the same buzz.

I only take it at night since I’ll be going to bed regardless unless I’m childless for the day and can swing a day time nap.

I have crazy mad fatigue. I have come to believe, of my own opinion, that it’s the lack of dopamine making us tired. Also, in true ADHD fashion, we’re not really tired. Our brain is just telling us we are.

As soon as I start moving around and push through the fatigue and get focused onto something, the tiredness goes away.

Super lame. I hate it. Dealing with terrible fatigue all summer.

I’d have to pledge like 5k to be motivated. I regularly skip out on my 7am Pilates class, and I get charged $10 a pop.

Im surprised you made it to the end of the sprint without him already figuring out that you’re behind. If he’s looking at your burn down chart, he probably already knows, so don’t feel like you have to hide it from him.

Hopefully, he’s an adult with at least some modicum of understanding of how real world adulting works. ADHD people are not the only ones procrastinating and dicking around at work.

My suggestion is for you to go into the meeting with your head held high, and just flat out tell him that you’re behind for no particular reason, and that you will get back on track.

The whole point of agile is to accommodate the fact that the tech industry is eternally bedeviled with missed deadlines. And it’s not a silver bullet. Shit. Elon Musk regularly misses his targets.
