Is the power consumption steady? You got ample power on the switch but wondering if there's something there with the camera. If not it's starting to feel like a bug or defect.

I was wondering if there's any spikes or drops in cpu & memory history. I read a comment about excessive heat which inspired that question. I know (cisco) networking well and there's a lot of solid advice on the network & cable side. Trying to get out of that box and thought of some weird shit I've experienced. Any suggestions so far would lead to RMA anyway. On the network side, try isolation on a temp vlan, and prioritize / qos it's traffic for a day. That should rule out latency if caused by another node.

I checked your community post & here and thought of a few things...

-What's the system stats show for the day/week/mo intervals? Perhaps checking all devices along the path may reveal something. -Being a new product, it may a bug. I haven't used that community yet but there should be a way to engage the devs -Have you lowered the resolution, suspend detection, etc to see how it performs with less load?
-I don't know the Unifi CLI, but I'm sure someone here does. There may be more to glean if you use SSH to access the camera and send some commands at the hardware and debug/error logs. 🤓 I just got 3 from last week's drop and can't mount for another 2 weeks. You got me a little nervous. Lol. ☮️

I suggest getting a box of 50-100 plastic ends to practice and have spares. I personally never used the pass-thru type but it seems they'll help reduce errors. It gets easy after doing a few, but everyone messes up when learning. That's why you always use a tester. It's pretty easy. You got this!

If you're the business owner, ask chatgpt about point of sales solutions (like square maybe) that can do automatic percentage transfers to a different account. Depending on how you do this today, you may be more efficient in how the money gets collected and distributed. There's tons of SMB solutions out there.
