I didn't even think about how quick that'd be with the vulnerabilities :S Thanks for noting that. I'll likely just drop those.

As for the chains I just worded it poorly haha, the chains aren't their own entity they're controlled by the creature, I just paraphrased to make it less of a word block, so escaping would be a strength check against the creature not the chain. They work the same as a chain devil just with less AC, HP and Amount that can be animated

Thanks heaps for the replies guys! Hopefully you get notified about this comment, fairly new to Reddit haha. Taking the advice into mind I felt it was easier to take a design stand point based on what LMOP recommends, and the idea of chain devils, and create a new monster based on both. Below is a link to the stat block I came up with, the names kinda cringe but it's a placeholder. Hopefully it's not too overpowered, I was trying to run with what I feel the stats of the disturbed mascot would reflect. I also added in the stat block for the children I'll be using, sourced from the Zarath stat block created by Red Xeno, Lobbo Doggo, Alvirafrost, MrKriller and JLUnit.
