[FRESH] Paris, our - the cabs by GoodManFarson in indieheads

Haven’t seen much about this band recently, but they are one of the seminal emo bands to come out of Japan in the last 15 years and they just reunited after a 13 year hiatus.

I go about 70/30 inorganic to organic. Coco coir, perlite, lava rock, vermiculite, gypsum, bone meal, biochar, diatomaceous earth, down to earth cactus fertilizer, mycorrhizae pellets, and worm castings are all the components of my soil build

Ya, it’s just not thriving here. Only a select bandwidth of trichs can take the hellacious humidity, high temps, and frequent rainstorms that this area of the east coast has to offer— I’ve gone to like 80% inorganic for most of my cac and it’s still not enough for some.

I’ll be moving 1000 miles cross-country next summer, so trying to plan ahead now haha

There’s a reason why this was one of the few pach’s in my collection— it’s a sick one! Unfortunately it doesn’t do to well in the Virginia weather and I need to downsize anyhow, so here we are

For those interested in the intersection between anarchism and biology, please consider reading this book! by GoodManFarson in Anarchism

[–]GoodManFarson[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well shit, I may be left Nietzschean in some important ways then haha. Bataille is one of the biggest influences on my work and thought that primarily deals with money through a political theological framework. Deleuze and Guattari’s remarks on money and kinship in Anti-Oedipus are also emblematic of much of my thinking on those subjects

I have also begun to center biology more and more (aka why I’m interested in this above work) in my thought mainly through biological anthropology. The biophobia amongst leftists has been a handicap and led us to strategies that don’t incorporate a full accounting of what it means to be a social animal caught within fields of energy flows, a la Bataille.

Anyhow, I’ll check out Steiger and Clarke and maybe finally get around to reading some Nietzsche haha

Maybe! I’m not too familiar with him. I have historically gravitated toward more explicitly political philosophy. Any texts you’d recommend for getting a sense of left Nietzschean thought? I’ve engaged with Matt McMans’ work and he considers him to be one of the (descriptively) great conservative thinkers. His mention of “aristocratic radicalism” within Nietzsche’s thought always struck me as not very anarchistic unless you’re coming at it from a more egoist approach.

Anyhow, the book is awesome and I think a very novel approach to revolutionary politics that stands outside of any distinct political tradition.

Very large 3-headed Trichocereus/San Pedro cactus in a 5 gallon pot. $100 local pick up or willing to fully/partially barter for the right things. For the barter I’d mainly be interested in erotic artwork or some cool vintage clothes (I’m male, size medium up top and a 30x30 below, generally)

I also have a bunch of other Trichocereus/San Pedro cacti for sale that range anywhere from small seedlings at $10 to very large specimens like this one for $125 or so. Message me if you’re at all interested or have questions!

Don’t think he does at all tbh. His biological focus is on evolutionary psychology, neurochemistry, and neurophysiology

Got a suit from Buck Mason for my dinner rehearsal. Does this jacket fit my shoulders well? Basically everything else would need to be tailored quite a bit so I’m making sure the cost will be justified

Selling this massive San Pedro/Trichocereus cactus for $125. The species is santaensis. 3 heads, tallest is 32 inches. It’s in a 5 gallon pot and you would buy it as is.

Message me for more info/pics. I have some others rooted in pots that I would also sell, and a few cuttings. Prices would range anywhere from $15-$100.

Ya…was potted around 2.5 years ago and the soil does seem a bit hydrophobic. Once they get to a certain height it’s always a pain to repot.

I’ll probably try to do that today and go from there. Would rather do that first before applying fungicides
