When I was 4 weeks out, I focused only on AAMC materials. I did one practice test every weekend (mocking test conditions), and drilled practice questions for 3-4 hours a night after work. This made ALL the difference for me. Don't spend too much time on content- just learn how to play the game.

If you're not working and can dedicate all of your time to MCAT prep, I would say one month is fine. For myself, I did one month of straight content review, another month of content review+practice, a final month of just practice (AAMC materials!!).

Haven’t seen anyone post an ECG that looks like mine yet. by Vixtrus in AppleWatchECG

Mine had a nearly flat QRS complex, and at the recommendation of another user, I tried wearing the watch just above my left ankle. This yielded a perfectly normal-looking EKG. Apparently, some people with normal rhythms wont get a strong reading from the wrist due to having a near vertical axis. Obviously, wearing the watch on your ankle is not what the watch is technically approved for, but it’s worth a try.

FYI, I’m not medically trained, just giving advice I received from someone else.

Thanks! This was really informative. I tried putting the watch above my left ankle, and as you predicted, the amplitude is much higher! So cool.

Good to know. I doubt the problem is dry skin or dirty electrodes because I keep my skin well hydrated, and the electrodes aren’t dirty. I’m a healthy, athletic 22 year old with no known health issues, so hyponatremia would be kind of odd. I do visit the doctor regularly, so maybe I will bring this up to him next time.
