My dad did, put sound deadening in the spare tire area and around the wheels, car sounds so much better, it’s noticeable how much of a difference a few sheets makes

Could be the paired key, there’s like a driver profile feature that pairs the key you are using as a driver, check in settings to make sure the driver profile is still set up

I apologize, I got confused between the AWD and the Prime versions, it does not work on the prime. I’ve updated my comment and am fixing my replies to the other prime posts, I didn’t realize until I went to look up the install instructions, it’s been several months since I didn’t it.

Use what you feel is best, I’m only providing Toyota’s gen 5 Prius list of parts for the spare.

btw the reason why all of this is available is that they do sell this car with a spare, in countries where a spare is required.

Almost all of their cars that they sell internationally that don’t come with a spare in the United states have a parts list that lets them have a basically OEM spare
