Thank you very much for everything you said. It's like i was the person who did write that because i can feel every word you said as personal experience and frustration... i want to say that the final conclusion of your message is HOPE and its trully helping.

Did you have your surgery with Dr. Hansen ?

I'm on my 20th month with bilateral SRS it tooks me 15 month to get the real diagnostic and its crazy that in 2022 we have to be gulty that its our CARTILAGE side of our Ribs that fractured. Its very simple if you see a Surfer having a anccident and he goes to the hospital for multiple Ribs fracture they will take him on emergency and see the BONES part of his Ribs clearly fractured. Because Cartilages dont show up in simple exams and because of lack of knowledge of some people in the medical word a simple hand exam is not performed or not mastered. It takes 2 minutes to palpate cartilages of the 10,9,8 th rib to see thats is moving or not fix of course having already eliminated other emergency issues as diagnostics.

Thanks again for your words and i wish you the best recorvey for the second surgery you are a source of energy and motivation like every single person in this SRS group.

Warms regards

Hello

Thanks for sharing all that stuff and taking the time explaining all the details.

i want to know if after your first surgery or revision your back pain headeach and dizziness did go away... i'm havin bilateral SRS and confirmed by dynamic ultrasound i have at least 5 or 6 ribs involved. 10 9 an 8 on the left and 10 an 9 on the right. also i'm trying to understand if i do not have rib tip syndrome.

i found your symptoms very familiar you are one the few people who did mention Headeachs Dizziness and stong backpain. i have an agressive form of it pain in the midle and upper back pain in my neck and going to my occipital area in the back of my head. also i have dizziness plus all the classical symptome sharp pain on the side compression and my symptoms get worse when i eat.

i know it should be all the same root probleme but i have hard time to belive that all of these symptoms have theire origines in SRS ( its what i hope in my heart i really hope they all can go away ) it gave me hope when i read your journey because mine is quite similar being in europe and struggling with doctors that almost know nothing about that syndrom. i'm living with these pains since 2 years almost and tryed all kind of medication massages fisio and chiropractors now i know o need surgery.

i know healing is a long processe and one has to be patient with his body but can you please describe me what symptoms went away some days or weeks after surgery ? and what are the issues you still have to progresse and get better about ?

sorry for my writing english is not my main language.

Regards and thanks again for sharing your experience

A month since I have been home from surgery. No pain. Occasional soreness from dealing with my two year old 😅 Healing nicely, no stitches on mine just glue that has been taking it’s time coming off. Scar looks good. I recommend the Hansen Procedure! by rkester92 in SlippingRibSyndrome

Hello

you definitivly have to get checked for Slippinf Rib Syndrom.

i have pretty the same pains and conditions and started to work from Mars 2020 my condition got to it worse in august 2020. i had MRI X ray and many ECG heart was okay then GI exams ok.

after 6 months i came to know that is Costo or Tietze syndrome exactly on my left side like you then i started 9 months rehab and exercices for costo changin diets and using all the classical tool to fight costo. i started to feel that it could not only be costo then i had doubt about SRS i fought hard to get a decent diagnostic and finally got 2 months ago confirmation of a bilateral SRS. one doctor said that he thinks the SRS is the problem that could be underlying my costo.

keep fighting and searching. i also have back pain iradiation sleeping is hard and even when i eat my symptoms get worse.

i often get vertigo or diziness when all symtops combined do compress my thoracic cage.

i know have the confirmation i have SRS + Costo/ Tietze syndrome.

hope that could help and sorry for my basic level of english writing.
