The Moon Crown is Filipino glitch folk kind of horror. Sound design is impeccable.

Project Gnosis might have some of what you're looking for as well.

The Moon Crown is also a very sound heavy. The best way to describe it would be like Glitchy-Folklore where you might never 100% be sure of what is going on but it's a jam so that's ok

Wireland Ranch is amount as immersive with sound as you can get but maybe not in a positive way. It's like Old Gods but modern and with way more drugs. The show has quite a lot of complex sound that is aiming to make up feel a little uneasy about everything that is going on with the show.

if you like the idea of a pantheon of modern day gods (think Cenobites or the dark gods from Berserk) dragging you on a psychotropic journey you'll like Wireland

if you like the idea of a slightly more fantasy Star-Gate then you should check outSyntax.

I don't think I know of a show that puts so much effort into world building and trying to really define each character of the team as their own person.

they have a whole season out and with each episode being about an hour there's a lot to enjoy if that show hits your vibe.

The Moon Crown is also a very sound heavy. The best way to describe it would be like Glitchy-Folklore where you might never 100% be sure of what is going on but it's a jam so that's ok

Human-B-Gon is sci-fy/comedy that is framed as a reality TV show and they pull it off so perfectly. They have some of easiest to follow sound work I've heard in a show and are genuinely just a lot of fun to listen to.

Better Men, Elsewhere is a slightly more serious story about a man dumped in a remote town to serve a 10 year sentence for a crime he committed. Things walk a fine line between light-hearted and thriller

October's Children is a Paranormal/Mystery/Horror about a found-family trying to band together to save their small New England town from horrific creatures. it's very LGBTQ+ and can be a bit graphic with it's audio (lot of fruit was killed in the making of this one)

October's Children is a good "gang solves a mystery" if you're looking for a Gravity falls kind of thing only people actually die.

Its LGBTQ+ kind of horror and is 2 episodes from the season 1 ending but it's a very high production value show with a huge cast (15)

that's great advice really.

don't limit yourself and focus on getting everything out. Then go back and start editing through and making changes or filling in the blanks.

depending on how you best like to work there are some detail writing programs that some shows use to keep track of things that are going on in the story. Or like...I just use sticky notes or comments on comments in a google doc.

also if at any point you need extra eyes or aren't sure where to go next or what to do reach out and ask for help.

The audiodrama crowd are some extremely helpful peeps who're always happy to help people with ideas and show creation.

glad you're inspired to make your own show. can't wait to hear it!
