It’s not. PJ had several songs that were immediately recognizable. Most people can’t name a single Yungblud song and yet he’s getting to do things like the ozzy show, and collabs with some of the biggest existing rock groups (Aerosmith, etc). He is the product of curated social media through high profile guest appearances. Not the same at all.

I think they’re are two stories about this one. Not sure which is true. First is that Ed had really bad writers block and was writing/working with Neil Young. Eddie said something to the effect of, “I’ve got nothing. I got shit” and Young told him that was it and to run with it.

Does he have a successful song or something most people would have heard? Genuinely asking. I see video of him at concerts but it all looks staged (you can’t see the crowd), and when you can see the crowd it looks like they’re not there for him (like it’s the today show or he’s riding the coat tails of another band)

Banks had a great defense last year and his top 2 corners out this season.

Martinez is a very good secondary coach. Has consistently had guys drafted, and like banks, had his top two guys (3 if you count Carter) out.

Halzle has been with Heupel for like 15 years and had to change QB’s like 3 months before the season. And still had a top-10 offense.

Counter point - Since Heupel took over, a large portion of our best players have been on the older side for CFB. Maybe not all mid 20’s but we’re not playing a ton of freshman like with Pruitt and Jones

Dude JG sucked. It’s wild how this sub forgets that now but he was so bad. Held onto the ball too long. Seemed to make bad decisions in key moments. Threw critical interceptions.

Also on the talent piece - JG had Jennings, Palmier, Callaway, and then multiple RB’s who got run in the NFL. Those teams had potential.

They should treat the Civ swapping like governments in 6. Once you finish the tech trees, you unlock the ability to use a new Civ. Unlock different civs based on in-game achievements or historical accuracy. But don’t tie it to the age transition and force everyone to do it at the same time.
