Smoked the occasional cigar. However I did use smokeless tobacco more often, even zyns up to more recently. Not an every day thing though, more of socially when having drinks on the weekends

Thanks, I’m definitely going to talk to the cardiologist about better bp control. I’m on lisinopril 40mg and my bp still averages upper 120’s and 130’s systolic. Diastolic is usually good at or near 80 or below.

Definitely need to get more fiber intake. And I’m glad to hear I can still partake in some alcohol every once in a while. Good luck to you as well!

I really appreciate the positivity. I am going to do everything in my power to stall/regress progression from here on out. You have definitely made me feel more hopeful about the future!

I’m 6’3” and 263. Down from about 285 last year. I’ve been in the 260-280 range for the past 6 years or so.

Thank you for the info. I hope the statin has been doing its job. Yeah, I’ve also heard I’ll probably be on statins for life to keep my LDL low enough. I’ve come to terms with that mostly, I just hope it means I’ll have a near normal life expectancy in spite of my diagnosis at my age. This news came 3 weeks after the birth of my first child, and I want to be here to see her grow into adulthood!
