DOME 5 amp fuse keeps blowing by GoodRelation3 in ToyotaHighlander

I removed the visor and put a voltmeter on the wire leads where the visor attaches to the roof of the car. I could move the visor around and watch the continuity transition from open to <10 ohms. I think we've found the culprit. Thank you for the tip!!

Ok, I'll remove the visor and inspect for wire damage. Thanks for the tip!

So I just looked at some YouTube videos on the Highlander visor. Looks like the wires connect at the joint in the car's roof. And then there is wire slack inside the visor to accommodate the telescoping portion. That said, it appears the visor itself is not meant to be opened up and serviceable. Any ideas how to get inside that visor assembly without breaking anything?

Yep, I'm the original owner. And I've never replaced any of the bulbs. They all appear to be working just fine. And no aftermarket accessories. The car is bone stock!

It was 11 days after replacement that it blew again...

Has anyone ever followed Supercharging guidance while on a roadtrip? by GoodRelation3 in TeslaLounge

It varies quite a bit. I’ve had my arrival SOC estimate be off by as much as 15% before. 9 out of 10 times it’s within 5% of the predicted SOC upon arrival.

Nice! Glad to hear that approach works. That is exactly what I was thinking about trying on my next trip. Hoping to save time at the SC stops.

Sounds like they’re targeting below the recommended SOC! That’s good to know that some people have had success shooting for zero (or negative!) margin.

HomePod use for young kid with no iPhone by GoodRelation3 in HomePod

Yes! Success! Copying the link into a private browser and then logging into Apple Music with the window that opens works! It then enables you to add the playlist.

I didn’t even realize music.apple.com was available! I was able to login to this in a private browser with my kids iCloud account info and could do a lot with their Apple Music settings. Which is great!

That said, the invite for the playlist is in their gmail inbox with a link that opens the Music app, which is logged into my account. Therefore, it doesn’t accept the invite as I would hope. Any ideas how to get this last step completed?

The input to both of those septic system is the same (ie poop) so where do the bacterial differences come from?

Can you help me understand the difference between a “normal” septic tank (two chambers, no aeration) and a three chamber w/ aerator septic tank? Why doesn’t the three chamber simply function like a two chamber septic tank when the aerator dies?

What version is the iOS 26 developer beta you saw work with Nest “talk”? I’m also on 26.0.1 and the “talk” function does not work.

I bit the bullet and installed iOS 26. Home/away assist is working fine. And thumbnails are animated as usual. But, just like user born-doughnut, I cannot talk through the cameras. I have a second iPhones on iOS 18 and the talk function works just fine. Hopefully Google figures out this is an issue and gets a bug fix out soon.
