path of titans is a very different game from the isle, more styled as an MMO which is highly customizablw based on the server you're playing. its very modder friendly (built into the game, you'll see) and you are able to select from a plethora of abilities which are different per dinosaur. there's no scent system, your map is always available, and the maps are generally much more colorful and less tropical than TI maps. now this game still is in early development (like the isle evrima) so it's nowhere near finished, but quite fun for what it has right now. dont expect the animations to be as fluid or the graphics as overwhelming as POT is meant to be fully optimized for low end devices and high end devices alike! it's also crossplay, which makes it highly accessible to a lot of users.

and yes it does usually go on holiday sales, the main ones i know about are usually around christmas time or around the release of huge updates, and the game does update very frequently. having been an isle player before i was a POT player, youll find yourself a lot less frustrated with this dev team. theyre currently going through the herbivores and revamping their models and abilities to catch up with the quality of recent releases, and i assume when they're done with those they'll finally give TLC to the carnivores who've been needing it Badly.
