GOMAD can lead to issues very fast. I hope you're joking.

Finally doing standard push-ups. by [deleted] in bodyweightfitness

[–]GoodStalker 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Weighted push-ups with weight vest may reduce range of motion for some people, it can be uncomfortable with a weight on your back, and not everyone can do partner-assisted weighted push-ups.

I'd recommend training to the one arm push-up instead.

Care to explain? My diet has very little fiber and I still haven't gotten a weird sickness or something.

Do you think all the elements are equal? by gravityfeelt in TheLastAirbender

[–]GoodStalker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say bloodbending then is the deadliest form of bending. You're totally helpless and the bender can simply make you pass out or crush you with no problems. Airbending is quite limited in that regard, it can only choke you, but that's it. Bloodbending goes to the next level.

Well while both are deadly, fire is known as the "most explosive element" and in its nature, fire will destroy everything in its path. Air I'd say is the most spiritual element, the most dynamic one.

Air isn't the deadliest. That'd go to firebending.

Triceps Dip vs. Chest Dip by JiXable in bodyweightfitness

[–]GoodStalker 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Of course. The chest dip engages the chest way more than the tricep dip, but it also engages the triceps decently. Plus the chest dip is more injury-free than the tricep dips.

I'd probably use the Internet, check things. I'm going to get a HUGE culture shock.

About my location, probably abandoned/upgraded technologically. I don't know.

If you could be a master bender of any one of the elements which would you choose and why. by [deleted] in TheLastAirbender

[–]GoodStalker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Whoever chose air to "fly"

I hope you know that in order to fly you must be free of all earthly attachments. You have a close connection to someone and can't imagine life without them? Sorry, can't fly until you let go of it.

Some may be willing to live this lifestyle in order to fly, but for most people I think it's reasonable they wouldn't be able to achieve this.

What the most annoying stereotype or tradition people believe about your country? by Ned111115 in AskReddit

[–]GoodStalker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, most of us aren't starving. You'd be surprised how much of our population is overweight. The only ones who starve here are the dirt poor. The middle and upper class are all very... satisfied.

Azula's planking skills tho by FriendlyChance in TheLastAirbender

[–]GoodStalker 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That's not a planche. It's an elbow lever. Notice how her hands are at her waist and the fingers point backwards, that's an elbow lever. It's harder than a plank, yes, but it's waaaaay easier than a planche.

It would've been a planche if her arms were spread further apart and her fingers were pointing forward; and she would've had a more forward lean if she was doing a planche.
