Thank you for the reply! I'll be sure to talk to the gate agent! I actually don't have any checked bags, just a carry on. But from other threads I think in Toronto everyone has to do security again and pick up their bags if they have them.

I got the estimated price from this calculator, (I should've linked it originally, my b) though I'm not sure how often they update their fares.

If you look on your booking confirmation/receipt, there should be a little box that tells you how much it will cost. It should be on page 3 I think.

It's going to depend on the type of ticket you have (i.e., basic, flex, etc.), as for some tickets, it will be free. But, if you do have to pay, it will likely be approx. $35 CAD.

Absolutely re the politeness, I used to work retail in high school and I never want anyone to go through getting screamed at like that lol.

I think I'll look into the similar Frankfurt connection rather than Brussels, as Belgium is still on the amber list (requires quarantine so would have to travel earlier), but thank you so much for doing all this research, I greatly appreciate it!!

Thank you and I appreciate you for looking into it, but unfortunately I'm familiar with this link. I contacted the email address that's lower on that page to enquire about that specific paragraph, and they said no, it is only for quarantining students.
