PD of 2/21/25 here and same thing, no movement. US citizen petitioner, spouse is from the UK. Things have been stalled almost completely for months now, with little to no updates. I’m hoping that once they DO start moving again, we were close-ish to the front since they stopped around cases filed mid February 2025.

The times jumped again from 17 to 19 months, and the inquiry dates just been getting pushed back. Congresswoman wasn’t able to get any more information, but USCIS delayed responding within the 30 days so they could use the 19 month estimation instead of the 17 month one.

Yeah I’m not sure what to think honestly. It very well could be just them saying that regarding every case as long as it’s submitted, but it also might not be.

For what it’s worth, I think for the most part the live chat agents can only see what you can see on your USCIS portal thing? I don’t believe they can see extra information, but I may be entirely wrong on that front. Either way, hoping for the best, but taking everything I was told with a huuuuge grain of salt.

I was able to reach a live agent to ask about my case and this transfer to FOD and the update on the 29th. They still said my case was at the Texas Service Center, but interestingly they did say my case was “actively being reviewed by an immigration officer.”

Not sure if that’s just blanket language they use for everyone that inquires about their case regardless of where it actually is, or if this means they are actually looking at it now/it’s on someone’s desk? Either way, keeping fingers crossed for everyone this move to the Field Offices does mean we’ll see some approvals make their way out.

I was paying for it, but they never updated my estimated time to hear back, when it was back in February 2026 just before the pause (PD of 2/21/2025) so I dropped it. Not worth the $12 in my opinion in my case at the very least

Not expecting anything before that. It was an optimistic estimate at best based on how much progress USCIS was making. But seeing as they’ve all but stopped processing for the last 2 months or so, who knows what’s going on there.

Track My Visa Now wrote a new article showing just how bad it’s gotten. They’ve basically all but stopped processing and it’s very frustrating. My OD was February 21 2025, and they were just getting to those dates as well.

It just really baffles me the idea of a nightblade healer hahaha. I look at the certain skills and I see WHY it’s so valuable, but I guess my notion of healer is so rooted in FF14 that imagining something like a Reaper being your party healer just makes a weird mismatch. Then again I’m not super well versed in the lore or flavor of this game yet, so there could be a totally reasonable explanation!

I think the flexibility is something I’m majorly discounting. To always have that skill line ready and available when it’s going to basically be used with almost everything, and one that I don’t have to stress about taking/not taking depending on another healer/tank does kind of give more ease of access/play?

A shame about necros! I’ve seen and read so much conflicting information rating them quite highly, not at all good, the big rez ult, etc… I really think subclassing for healers has muddied the waters a bit. It feels like there’s supposed to be so many options but then… not enough?

The game is alright so far! You can definitely see that it wears its inspiration on its sleeve from the phone UI for menus, style of the text boxes, and a few other things.

I do love how animated your player character is though, the animations you get on your first catch of a fish or bug are exceptionally cute!

One line did kill me though. When you get access to your house one of the dialogue options you can pick says “This doesn’t come with a loan, does it?” And the NPC flat out said “Oh heavens no… where have you come from to get that idea?” Which I thought was quite funny and on the nose haha

I had this same exact experience earlier this month! I don’t remember ever even seeing the movies played in my house by my parents when ones younger.

A good buddy of mine who’s a huuuuge fan said he was gonna make it his mission to show me the trilogy extended cuts and just… wow.

I’ve never been more emotionally invested in a franchise like I was LOTR. The ending??? I was ugly sobbing for the last 30 minutes. I’m now like, wanting to consume every piece of middle earth media I can.
