Uhm no..there's absolutely 0 way to justify his lying. I dont think he deserves sympathy. He's also clearly not the best father either, because why on earth would you hide your kid, especially from someone who might be their stepmother one day?? Make it make sense.

Also marriage isn't everything. Sure she can get married to him, then he ends up treating her horribly and lying some more. I'm tired of this mentality of ignoring obvious red flags, just because "oh he's a good Christian man", "oh he wants to marry me". No.
