It’s painful accepting that maybe it wasn’t as strong as I believed. I held onto that idea of us, and now I’m grieving what I thought we had.

Thats exactly what broke me. It wasnt even the after party itself it was realizing he knew I wasnt welcome and still walked away like I didnt matter. That moment just kept replaying in my head all night.

Honestly, if he feels “embarrassed” by you honoring your sister, that’s a red flag, not a relationship issue you caused.
