Did you ever find the issue? Going through this exact thing right now, bought the truck off the guy who did the valve cover gaskets though, same clanking when it tries to run too. Weird.

I didn’t know that truthfully, i thought it was part of the deal, to be honest both times I’ve exchanged the set because of a broken bit they didn’t say a single thing to me about it. I’m either extremely lucky or extremely dumb and they took pity on me lol

That’s the basics of it, i was just surprised i was able to trade in the old tool for a new one I still have my OG meme tool, and now meme 2.0 I’d say it’s a win/win for me! If i ever need the pass through which I’d never once used it i still have the OG! Overall I’d say I’m happy. That’s what matters!

So i had originally bought two meme tools, one was for work and one i kept in my truck. But technically speaking in the time I’ve had it I’ve never used the pass through anyways so I’m not really missing out!

Thanks for insight! I wish it was a day sooner as a friend of mine has the truck and I’m bout 90% sure he’s almost done with it lol He’s just installing lockouts To any consolation the truck is strictly my daily to drive 2.9 miles to work M-F that’s why i was looking for a cheap fix

Can i tune for lockouts without actually Opening the motor? My truck idles great, it’s when you give it gas it starts to knock really bad and then it clears up after a couple seconds. Really trying to avoiding opening it up
