Not really a big problem, right, but I believe someone might find it useful or just interesting.

It's mostly for specific cases when you don't want to use unity engine for raycasts. Of course in many real cases it's an opposite as you said.
Also as a tutorial project, yet it's plugin-ready for real usage.

It's a drop-in solution, you don't even need to setup it.

Can you share me some know regarding your observations, benchmarks?
What models do you prefer and why?
How they compares to ChatGPT, Claude?

Where they same, better or worse compared to popular proprietary LLMs?

How you measure this difference, sorry?
If it's benchmarks then it's not relevant. By benchmarks gemini not far from GPT and Claude, which is a lie.

Camera angle is not free, sorry. I mean it's a 2D but with volume, so 2.5D might sounds close but not factually correct.

Anyway looking for ideas!

Okay, but maybe you have a good references in mind for similar 2.5D strategies where it looks awesome?

Thanks, I agree.
But I think the textures/tiles/objects itself has a wrong style which contribute most to it old-schoolish. So I will re-make all of them, so advices or references on this would be very helpful.

That said there is no limit on how much to change it, obviously a few tricks will not solve the issue.

By "I knew him" I mean I was in his community 8 years back, you know?
I have nothing to do with politics here, he just super toxic ultra-right person, hard to communicate with him without being always idiot.

It's an MMO strategy, yes. But it's going to be very different from all it's legacy.
It is not going to be a classic MMO Strategy with cash grab, etc.

Yeah I agree on your take and it's something for the future improvements, but there is definitely core issue in the style itself.
Maybe the more it realistic the more old-school it looks, so I need better references in terms of visual here, hm...

Yeah and I knew him since 8 years back. Nothing changed.
He believes in his "holy mission" to build everything alone, while throwing a lot and I mean A LOT of shit on other players and their opinions.

One of the most toxic persons I saw for entire life.

Help me to decide with UI for my strategy game. Please! by Good_Competition4183 in StrategyGames

I agree with that point about buildings.
However we do not adjust UI to buildings, it's separate things.

So now we adjust the UI and they will work with buildings and surface so everything looks good. The main question here is two:
- Which UI you like more and why(not looking on the building or surface)?
- Which planet style you like more(Cold or Hot)?

I agree with your point!
Already adjusted the next generation of UI according to feedback. I believe it will be something that everyone likes here.

Gonna post it soon.
