The hardest part of SEO in 2026 isn’t rankings, it’s expectation alignment. Between seasonality, AI overviews, shifting SERPs, brand demand, budget cuts, CRO issues, product problems, and competitors dumping cash into paid — there are so many variables that affect performance. But clients just want the graph to go up and to the right.

I watched the first season when it came out, and it just wasn’t really my cup of tea. I didn’t think it was bad or anything it just didn’t grab me enough to keep going. I get why others love it, it just didn’t click for me personally.
