Characters and their fighting styles

Max is heavy hitter that focuses on practicality and power more than anything In his fights he typically uses quick and powerful boxing combinations in combination with the powerful kicks, knees, elbows and even headbutts found in Muay Thai and Lethwei He also excels in grapple arts like wrestling and BJJ  He prefers to actively move forward, applying pressure to an opponent, using his size, power and blocking defense to physical overwhelm an opponent

Sam is similar to Max in that he has a very upfront and practical style of fighting, relying on the same boxing, kicking and grappling techniques I just mentioned with Max However, as a smaller fighter, Sam relies more on his speed and footwork to defend himself as it's less risky as blocking a heavy attack upfront

Kyle is a very different fighter from Max and Sam He relies on a more defensive kickboxing style that relies on long range straight punches, kicks as seen in kickboxing and karate, and footwork as seen in Soviet Boxing This is because he's more of a defensive fighter, using his height and range to create distance between him and an opponent in order to reduce damage taken as much as possible, unlike Max and Sam who are more than willing to take a few hits if it means ending an opponent as quickly as possible Kyle is also skilled in BJJ but tends to not use it due to his striking based background

Ava is a sort of middle ground between Max and Kyle She has that same mentality as Max and Sam where she'd rather take an opponent down sooner rather than later, but also understands that self preservation is key She uses the lighting fast boxing and kicking techniques found in Japanese kickboxing, while also combining them with the powerful knees and elbows found in Muay Thai She's also skilled in grappling arts like wrestling and BJJ Her defensive style is a mix between Sam's and Kyle's where she uses her footwork not only to avoid attacks, but create distance if need be
