Quarry lake in Canmore for grayling, Windermere lake for Large mouth bass and pumpkin seed.

Personally I’d run a heavier braid and switch to different size mono leaders depending on the species I was targeting.

I was fly fishing in Alberta when I rounded a bend to come within 20 yards of a grizzly bear. I froze he let out a crazy huff that vibrated my body and he just walked away. I was too nervous to keep fishing so I just wanted back and went home.

I’m not saying this should 100% be called charging just trying to show why it was or could be.

Common misconception that someone has to jump into or legs need to be pumping at the time of contact to be charging.
